Hello and welcome to my about me page. On this page I would like to share a bit of information about myself so you can get to know me a little better :-)

My name is Lee McKenna and I was born and live in a small town called Middlesbrough. You can see a picture of me below…

At the time of writing I’m now 28 and a successful online business owner which we will talk about soon but I first want to take you back in to my teens when I was in school. You see back then I did not know what I wanted to be. Well I was a very good snooker player in my teens and I did play for England once or twice but for some reason I lost interest and stopped practicing. So apart from wanting to make it as a pro in snooker I didn’t know what I wanted to be and at the time I didn’t really care. I was to busy having fun with my school mates and getting in to trouble with the head master.

As you probably guessed I was no angel but I wasn’t as bad as I make out. I was basically the clown of the class as I was told many times and I just wanted to have fun which used to get me in to trouble every now and again. Learning in school was not for me. I had no interest in GCES’s or my exams and it won’t come as a surprise to you when I tell you I didn’t get any qualifications at school.

Most of my family like my dad and brother and most of the people I knew were scaffolders so I sort of knew that was good money and I could always fall back on that if I couldn’t get a good job when I left school. And that’s what happened. Soon after leaving school I went and started work with my father scaffolding. But we did not work well together plus it was very hard work and after a few years I realised it was not for me. I didn’t know it then that I was an entrepreneur but I was always interested in sales. Luckily for me when you scaffold you are always in and out of work and once time when I was out of work I got pulled up by guy in the job centre and he asked me if I was looking for full time work. I said sure what is it. He told me to go and take a seat and he would explain.

He went on to explain that he had a few jobs going for out going individuals who liked to meet new people. The job was selling gas and electric door to door. Well not selling it more like switching people to a better cheaper company. I knew I would love the job so I asked for an interview and I started the following week. I was very successful at the job and I was working much less hours and getting paid twice as much as I was with scaffolding. The problem came when the agency I was working for had financial difficulty and when bankrupt which meant I lost my job which I loved.

So back to the job centre I went and this time I knew what I was looking for because I knew I was a good sales person. I ended up selling internet broadband services in a call centre it was not as good money but at the time I had no choice but to accept the work and I’m glad I did start working there because with me working in a call centre we all have a personal computer and we all had internet access. This was the start of my new online information publishing business. You see I don’t know how it happened but one day I was at work just browsing the web and I must have clicked a ppc advert or something and it took me to a website which promised me that I could make millions in a very short space of time.

Now I automatically knew being the entrepreneur I am that it was probably a scam website but I was smart enough to know that some of what this website was telling me was right. I knew that there must be normal people out there making a very good living working from home selling stuff online. So after that day I was constantly online in-between calls doing my research. I even got the internet installed at home so I could study how to make money online from home.

I was obsessed and I knew I wouldn’t stop working until I had my very own internet business set up which was making me enough money to quit my job in the call centre which I hated. To cut a long story short I did a lot of research and did manage to set a few websites up which was making me a few hundred dollars a week. At this point I was still working at the call centre because I didn’t think I was earning enough to quit. But I knew deep down if I quit my job and worked on my websites full time I could start to earn a lot more. I was tempted to just quit but something was holding me back. But I was in luck because one day I had a argument with my boss and told him to stick his job were the sun don’t shine.

Now I had to make it work I had no choice. So that’s what I did and 5 years later I will never have to work for anyone else ever again and the best thing is I will never have to worry about money again because I have many successful information publishing businesses working for me online.
